![]() ![]() You know I don't know about videos, but I think there are some from ATI ? Not really sure on that. So what EXACTLY would you have a problem with that you need a blueprint?Ĭlick to expand.Always good to hear rookies asking questions! Sure helps to approach things with an open mind instead of "this is how I'm sure it needs to be done Everything else is a non-drill operation. The top rails of course need to be trimmed, and the internal rails need to be welded. Once that is fit, you can go on to the rear stock tang. Once you get those properly drilled and assembled, you proceed to the trigger guard holes. If you understand the basis of the assemblies, then you will know that you need to start with the trunion holes. If you really don't have a clue, then you can look at sites such as mine that walk you through the conceptual assemblies which will help you understand the necessary steps. To rebuild a kit, you really just need to have a good mechanical aptitude and you don't need no stinking blueprint. The unfortunate truth is that there is no "accurate" template because the kits we receive ALREADY HAVE THE HOLES DRILLED! Thus a blueprint is never going to be accurate. The only reason they exist is to facilitate the hole-less receiver shells. WTF does "very easy to follow" mean? Or are you just trying to bump up your post count?īuilding an AK using a blueprint is at best a "nice try". ![]()
